Arrow Indicator: Status, Initiative, or spin it
thingiverse
Note: The one in the picture is actually a prototype, so its printing resolution was lower than what's specified in the stats. This status indicator lets you create multiple sections and the arrow can be rotated to keep track of your current location. If you're using this as an Initiative Tracker for gaming or for keeping a rotating order going, there's a raised area on the edge that serves as the starting point. The sample pictures show one where I've set it up as an example of a random encounter indicator - when the arrow spins, it'll randomly land (hopefully not on the dragon!). I added names to the tiles for printing and then painted the raised lettering to make it stand out more. I really like the clean look. The second photo is the same base, but with plain white tiles and labels made using a label maker. I was lazy, so I didn't want to do another full print job. It also shows that you don't need customized tiles - just using blank ones and labeling them will work. (Again, if you're a gamer, you can rotate out player names for various games, etc). The files provide inserts in the following sizes: 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, and 1/16th. You can mix and match as you see fit - just like I did in the first example. If you have a larger printer, you can apply the same scale percentage to each of the parts to make it either bigger or smaller, as needed.
