Arrow Holder (for Miniature Compound Bow)

Arrow Holder (for Miniature Compound Bow)

Holds 3 arrows of diameter 3.5-5.5mm (a free CAD file is available if your arrows are a different size). This is not really a remix, but an accessory designed to complement the Mini Compound Bow created by DonStick3l... Thanks go out to Don for his wonderful design! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2764962 It is secured to the bow riser with bolts that hold the string guide part in place. If existing bolts are at least 2mm too long, they will work; otherwise, longer bolts will be needed. The lower non-counter bored holes provide clearance for arrow guide bolts that may be too long. I printed mine in PETG and it has a solid grip on my 5-5.5m skewer arrows. I'm not sure if PLA is too stiff or not. Please post a comment if you print it in PLA (or other materials besides PETG) and it works well. Update: May 18, 2018 Anisotropy caught up with me today. A pair of my arrow clips broke when I inserted an arrow. So I reprinted the design rotated 90 degrees to take advantage of material orientation. Now it is much tougher to break; actually, I couldn't break it during my abuse testing. Unfortunately, rotating it means supports are now required; regardless, the end result in clear PETG is actually better looking with the updated orientation. A version 2 STL file with the updated correct orientation has been uploaded.
