I've been pondering why 3D printing hasn't made a significant impact on archery beyond some subpar arrowhead designs. So, I took matters into my own hands and designed a robust and aerodynamic shape for the arrow tips that have withstood rigorous testing. The most effective way to attach these printed arrowheads is by inserting them onto the tip of the arrow, applying glue around the base, allowing it to dry before firing. This method has proven successful in several tests. Here are my recommended print settings: Printer: DA VINCI 1.0 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .4 mm for optimal strength and durability Infill: Print at a density of 100% to 90% for maximum robustness Notes: To achieve sharp tips, print multiple arrowheads simultaneously – ideally four or more. I've successfully tested my printed arrowheads using standard archery foam targets, hitting wood with impressive accuracy. However, it's essential to note that these printed arrowheads won't last long against metal targets, so it's best to stick with traditional targets or consider using them for hunting purposes only.
