Arrow Fletching and Nock for 5/16" Wood Dowels

Here are the details of my design: I crafted this arrow vane from scratch with thinner vanes and a deep 3" hole to accommodate a 5/16" wood dowel purchased at Home Depot. The vane measures approximately 3 3/4" in length. To ensure optimal results, I suggest increasing the printing flow to 102%. This modification will help prevent underextruding, which is something I've encountered firsthand. For secure attachment, I recommend connecting it with shrink tube in the front and a small amount of hot glue or super glue on the sides. The cone-shaped hole allows for easy sharpening of the dowel, thereby enhancing stability. Please note that I'm not an archer; rather, I based my design on online fletching guides. If you'd like to see more vane designs, feel free to request them – although I must admit, I have no idea which design works best. UPDATE 5/20/2019: To enhance accuracy and stability, I've added a 2-degree angle to the vanes. This modification should yield better results. Additionally, I've refined the shape of the vanes themselves. Furthermore, I've created a separate model for printing flexible filament specifically designed for fletching. UPDATE 5/23/2019: To cater to users who prefer faster prints, I've added a vane that can be printed in vase mode within less than 40 minutes – and it doesn't require a nock. Please note that while I designed this arrow vane, I haven't personally tested it yet.
