Arrma Infraction Pro Stock Drag Wing (updated)

Arrma Infraction Pro Stock Drag Wing This is still a Work In Progress, but I think the Infraction looks even better with a drag style wing. Since there aren't any factory-made ones that caught my eye, I decided to try designing one myself. It's loosely based on Ken Block's Hoonitruck drag wing concept pictures. http://www.andyblackmoredesign.com/wp-content/uploads/hoonitruck8.jpg I'm still figuring out how to attach the side wings, but for now, you can just glue them on. If you own an RC or have access to a 3D printer, you should already have CA glue on hand. I might update this design later depending on user interest. You can also choose to either glue the bottom of the brace to the body or use a small piece of double-sided tape. I included the strut brace, but it's fragile, so consider it cosmetic and unlikely to withstand rough handling. I'd recommend replacing it with something made of metal or carbon fiber. I've updated the model to include additional designs for the side wings and deck that will show up well when printing with different filaments. The logo on the original wing was too small to see clearly, but I'm keeping it as is. I also extended the deck wings to match the profile of the side wings, which should improve the overall fit (you might need to add supports under the deck wing extensions). Finally, I added rivets. I've since modified the rivets on the deck to match those on the side wings. The updated model is now available, but I'm leaving the old picture up until I can reprint it. I've also added new deck designs: Autobot and Flames. You can choose between the original deck and wing or the v2 deck and v2 side wings. While the struts are just cosmetic, I'm including them for now; you might want to redesign or fabricate some out of fiber or metal rods later. If you're interested in a custom model with your RC club's name or logo on the top deck, let me know - I'll see what I can do.
