A Customized Remix of Existing Designs and Similar to My Previous Work This project combines elements from existing designs found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3690500 with similarities to my own creation, located at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4326937. The Resulting Product is a 19-inch Rack Mount for an Arris SB6190 SurfBoard Cable Modem This design features an integrated fan powered by a regulated power supply. A blue LED light illuminates the fan from behind, creating a visually appealing effect. The rack mount is divided into two distinct sections. One half contains the modem mount, fan, power supply, and a single keystone mount. In contrast, the other half boasts multiple keystone mounts. Two Variants are Provided Version one integrates a keystone mount with the modem mount on one side, while the opposing side features nine keystone mounts. Version two offers a slightly shortened modem mount without a keystone mount, accompanied by ten keystone mounts on the opposite side. This design is tailored for smaller printers and requires a bed no larger than 220mm x 220mm. This Design Also Includes an Optional Configuration for Rack Mount Network Switches For those interested, mounting ears have been designed to accommodate rack mount network switches, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4567571. The Integrated Fan is Rated at Approximately 30 dba While relatively quiet, it may not be suitable for bedroom environments. Like most fans, this one operates within a voltage range of 4.5-13.8 VDC. To ensure safe operation, I've incorporated a small switching regulator from Pololu to regulate the power supply. The power connector is a 5.5mm × 2.1mm plug, which differs in size from the SB6190 modem's power connector. If using a regulated wall-wart, please select the unregulated version of the power supply board assembly.
