array of independent Fans

thingiverse

This is a mount for clustering multiple PC fans into an array, engineered to be highly modular in terms of size and number of fans. In the images above, you can clearly see how it's constructed. The various parts are precision-cut using a laser from 3mm thick wood panels. To get started, calculate how frequently each part is required, as there are four distinct components: "foot", "distancer", "holder", and "placeholder". After cutting all the necessary parts, screw everything together with 40mm M4 screws, except for the feet, which need to be glued into place. Be sure to prioritize cable management when powering the fans. The part labeled as "distancer" requires adjustment according to the size of your fans; it's currently optimized for 80mm computer fans.
