The Arquitens-Class Light Cruiser was a line of versatile cruisers designed and manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards for both the Republic and later for the Empire. Its primary function as an escort ship made it a crucial asset in various starship missions. The cruiser measured approximately 325 meters in length, showcasing its impressive size and capabilities. A notable variant of this light cruiser is known as Gideon's personal vessel from the Mandalorian series. This modified version, designated Class-546 Light Cruiser, boasts several enhancements over the standard model. Notably, it features four smaller sublight thrusters, a reconfigured bridge area, and an enlarged cargo bay capable of holding up to eight TIE fighters. Additionally, this customized cruiser includes specialized equipment such as a rack for deploying Gideon's elite Dark Troopers and a dedicated shaft designed specifically for their deployment.
