Aronia motorboat (UK)
thingiverse
In 1929, a steel yacht called Aronia was constructed in Copenhagen at the request of an English billionaire with deep pockets. The luxurious interior on board Aronia rivaled that of the saloons on the Normandie transatlantic liner, renowned for its opulence. Two powerful diesel engines propelled the vessel to a speed of 30 knots, making it a force to be reckoned with on the high seas. At the outbreak of war, Aronia was mobilized and played a pivotal role in the Dunkirk Evacuation, a daring rescue mission that saved countless lives. After the war ended in 1945, Aronia was returned to its owner, who promptly put her back into service as intended. In the late 1950s, Winston Churchill took command of Aronia for a leisurely cruise around the Mediterranean, enjoying the warm waters and scenic coastline.
