Pedestrians are everywhere in Grand Theft Auto III, going about their daily lives in Liberty City. They stroll down sidewalks, crossing streets with reckless abandon, oblivious to the chaos that is unfolding around them. Some of them stop and stare at the player's character, wondering what on earth they're doing. Others quickly glance over and scurry away, trying not to get caught up in the mayhem.
