Army Ammo Box 7 Cassette Box

Army Ammo Box 7 Cassette Box

A box I designed and printed to hold 7 cassettes for a friend. I designed it to look like a wooden box used by armed forces to hold ammunition, hence why it has gap-lines running along the walls and lid (to mimic the wooden planks used in the real ones) **You will need:** - 3 M3x20 screws or 3mm diameter wooden/metal rods **Printing:** Unless you have a big printer, your going to have to print this in at least 2 different prints, likely taking about 20-28 hours total (depending on print settings). The box can be printed as 1 solid piece, which is recommended just because assembling the split section takes a lot of time and effort. However, if you have trouble printing the box as a solid piece, there's 4 other files included which split the box in to 5 different segments: a front, back, 2 sides and the bottom. The lid and the latch can be printed with a small amount of support material **Assembly:** Unless your printer/filament is dialed in pretty well, you will probably have to slightly drill out the holes where the screws go to about 3mm (preferably somewhere between 2.5mm and 3mm, if possible) You will definitely need to drill out the hinge holes on the lid (where it connects to the box) and the latch hinge hole to be 3.5mm in size so that it freely rotates around the screws/rods that you'll be using for the hinges. Then, you simply put some screws in where the latch hinge and lid hinge goes, connecting them all together, put a small padlock in the front (if you want) and it's fully assembled!
