ArmPo

This is the latest model of our prosthetic for trans-radial amputees. It's an action-packed device suitable for kids and adults alike. Instructions for printing and assembly can be found below. We'll continue to update this prosthetic, as well as upload more designs in the future. Our work was inspired by the Unlimbited Arm team and their thermoforming technique, the Funmove forearm system, GiveMeFive's flexy arm, Christian Silva's creations, and the amazing flexyhand by GyrobotUK. For more information on our project, visit our crowdfunding page at https://www.generosity.com/community-fundraising/po-3d-printing-prosthetics-with-attitude. **Custom Section** Instructions for assembling an ArmPO: Thermoform L_triceps and L_base of the forearm according to the size of the user's limb. Make perforations corresponding to the wrist of LH_HandEX-ArmPO using the thermoformed L_base as a guide. The perforations are used for the Pins and to fix the LH_HandEX-ArmPO to the forearm. Standard flexy hand assembly for LH_HandEX-ArmPO. Standard flexy hand stringing for LH_HandEX-ArmPO. Fix the thermoformed L_base to L_triceps using the Flexible rings. String through the forearm. Bind the LH_HandEX-ArmPO to the forearm using the Pins and gluing them together. Tense the strings using the Tensioners. Use one Tensioner for the thumb and the other one for the remaining fingers. Thermoform the Cover and fix it to the forearm with the Flexible rings. **Optimal Print Settings** The following pieces were printed with a RepRap Prusa I3 with a building volume of 230x400x250 mm^3.
