During the late medieval period and early to mid-Renaissance era, the heavily armored knight dominated the battlefield as its undisputed king. Though they rarely employed massive great wedges of steel like this one, they were certain to inspire fear in any giants or dragons they encountered on their quests to rescue their kingdom's princesses. Little did these knights know that their intended heroines had already taken matters into their own hands, proving themselves to be no shrinking violets in the process.
