Armie - Hands Free Handle

Armie - Hands Free Handle

pinshape

Armie is a cutting-edge 3D printed hands-free handle that's revolutionizing the way people interact with doors and drawers, especially during the pandemic. The virus that causes COVID-19 can survive on hard surfaces for up to three days, which means countless individuals may have unknowingly transmitted it by touching door handles at their workplace. Armie empowers users to open doors with their arms instead of their hands, significantly reducing the risk of spreading the virus. Armie is engineered to fit snugly onto most handle profiles, but we acknowledge that it might not be compatible with every single handle out there. To securely attach the 3D print to the handle, a minimum of two cable ties are required. We've also created left and right-hand versions of Armie, so users can simply select the version that corresponds to their door's location. For detailed installation instructions, check out the project folder. By joining forces, we can take proactive steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you have any suggestions or ideas on how to improve Armie's design, don't hesitate to reach out and share your thoughts with us.
