Armband Volt-meter
thingiverse
Just a quick 1-hour design needing more work. I love my big waterproof meter doing everything, but sometimes you want DC volts and don't have 3 hands to handle it. Tip: get your slicer to generate support structures! You'll need an off-the-shelf, self-powered volt-meter with fewer hyphens than I'm using. Attach a couple of clip leads - red to Pwr+ (bridges to sense) and black to Pwr-, but different styles may vary. A bit of webbing strap and a clip are also required, available in various printable versions on Thingiverse. When found, the link will be posted. Suitable meters can be sourced from Jaycar, Ebay, or at http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6453063933.html?orderId=65476459251995 Chinese options need their legs snipped off with flush cutters but come in a sleek green colour not harsh on your eyes when stuck in an industrial cable gantry - the original inspiration for this design.
