I tried out various GoPro mounts online, but they all had a restrictive design that resulted in either a tight fit or scratches on my camera from crashes. In contrast, this Top Plate is designed to slide into the Armattan frame's slot and then be secured with screws, allowing for adjustable angles using the standard GoPro screw/nut system. Since it lacks an enclosure, it doesn't provide any additional protection. GoPros are built to withstand rough handling, even the latest Hero 8 model comes with a bare camera and mounting points.
