Armattan Marmotte / Badger VTX, GPS Mounts
thingiverse
I've created a few custom components for my Armattan Badger, specifically designed to hold the Frsky R-XSR receiver and Lumenier TX5GS VTX in place. The design also features a tail that securely holds the VTX antenna, receiver forever tubes, and has a dedicated space for my Matek GPS mount. There's ample room beneath the VTX for airflow, which prevents overheating of the heat sink. The VTX mount is versatile and suitable for any model with 30mm hole spacing. I utilized M3 heat set inserts to secure all components together, which can be sourced from McMaster at this link: https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/125/3421. Please note that you'll need to trim a 1mm support left in the design on the tail, as using supports during printing is not necessary. This minor trimming process allows for easy passage of GPS wires through the tail and into the GPS mount. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. These custom components are among my first designs, and I'm eager to receive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
