These mounts are designed to clip under the back arms of the Armattan Chameleon frame to hold 3mm antenna tubes securely in place. Simply insert your whip antennas into these tubes and they'll be out of harm's way, protected from the whirling propellers. Initially, I had my antennas poking out the back at a 90-degree angle, but their length proved to be a problem. Whenever the quad's rear end hit the ground at an awkward angle, the flexible tubes and antennas would bend towards the props, getting chopped in the process. To avoid this issue altogether, I rerouted them under the arms to the front, positioning them safely between the arms where they can't possibly touch the ground. By placing them under the arms, these mounts ensure that your diversity setup will function as intended. And with their 90-degree angle (or near-perfect alignment), you can rest assured that your antennas are securely positioned and out of harm's way.
