What better occasion than Giorgio Armani's 90th birthday to offer a somewhat flattering tribute to the undisputed Master of Italian style? I envisioned a significant automobile, a grand touring sedan that, while rooted in classic Italian tradition, embodies contemporary power and elegance, reflecting the distinctive sobriety of his unique style. I thought it would be a simpler task, but combining these qualities without slipping into the banal or the excessive proved to be extremely challenging (at the risk of excommunication!). Meeting the set objective presented me with quite a few difficulties. I could have done more, but that would have required an amount of time for development that, unfortunately, I cannot afford. This is the result.
