Arm Pull for Metallic Doors
thingiverse
Printable Arm Pull design for Metallic doors. Uses two, 88 lb magnets (Link found below for what we are using) The design is surprisingly strong & fits the arm very comfortably; with curves that allow for angular movement when the door is opening AND also allowing for various heights of people. Designed by ISU - College of Design Student Employees in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Most of the doors, in our college, require a significant amount of force to open, and we needed a temporary design that would not damage the door. The Design calls for at least two magnets. We chose 88 lbs because the 39s would still move around the door a little. The 88's keep the arm pull in place very nicely. https://www.magnet4sale.com/88-lb-cup-magnet-w-male-threaded-stud-1-4-20-made-of-neodymium-magnet/
