Arm Orthosis
thingiverse
The Arm Orthosis, a result of diligent work for a Master's Thesis, showcases its innovative design heavily influenced by the WREX 3D printed prototype. A passive mechanism successfully counteracts the arm weight's gravitational pull utilizing everyday desktop elastic bands or comparable alternatives, providing flexibility in design choices. Adding a servomotor can greatly enhance control over the mechanism's operation. The primary goal of this device is to provide assistance to children suffering from progressive muscular dystrophies. The original files for this project were created using Autodesk Inventor and are readily available for download at http://ral.ing.puc.cl/arm_orthosis.htm
With this file you will be able to print Arm Orthosis with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Arm Orthosis.
