Took a very good design, reduced wall thicknesses for weight, added some crush ribs to reduce impulse during an impact, and opened up the web between the ribs for the visual effect. Crash testing has shown good retention :) I like this strap under style of end guard because the strap covers the bearing hole to minimize debris at the bottom motor bearing, and they are very pretty light weight compared to other designs
