Arm Extension Kits for DJI Frames

This kit is perfect for any multirotor using DJI-style arms - it's an easy swap-out for the stock arms and you'll instantly see a huge difference! What can you do with this upgrade? Well, specifically: • Install any length or diameter arms: The kits are available for 8, 10, 12, and 16mm CF tubing. • Use any motor - even big, low KV pancake motors: You won't have to worry about size limitations. • Mount any size propeller by simply varying the arm length: This upgrade gives you incredible flexibility. • Stabilize your multirotors for better aerial photography: The arms provide more stability, making for clearer shots. Lighten your quad and extend your flight time significantly with this upgrade. The kit is also incredibly durable - it's stiffer and tougher than stock DJI arms, so it can handle any situation. To upgrade, you'll need a few simple components: arm adapters, motor mounts, carbon fiber tube, M4 x 20mm screws (four for under $1 at Home Depot), and M4 lock nuts (also four for less than $1). Here's what you need to do: • Remove the propellers • Unplug the ESCs • Take out the two bottom screws from each arm • Remove the top screws on each arm and slide off the motor mount • Slide on the new CF tube and arm • Install a small drop of CA into the hole where the screw stripped (wait 24 hours to insert a new screw) • Check the levelness of your motor mounts - this is critical for smooth flight. When it's all done, plug in the ESCs and test the motor rotation direction without props. Once you've got that right, mount your propellers and get ready to take to the skies! Of course, like with any project, things can go wrong. Here are some common issues: • You strip a screw • The CA or acetone trick doesn't work • Filling the hole with epoxy and threading a new screw in doesn't solve it Don't worry - these problems have been seen before! In that case, you might need to drill out the hole (be careful, ABS melts when wet!) or fill the hole with a specialized adhesive like CA or Epoxy. If none of these options work, unfortunately, you may be out of luck.
