A versatile 2-axis camera mount for the popular Arlo Pro series cameras is available, utilizing their existing magnetic and 1/4-20 mounts. This ingenious design makes it incredibly convenient to use. To assemble this system, additional hardware is required. A drywall screw secures the mounting to a surface, while 1/4-20 bolts are used for other components. A specifically designed 1/2 inch long round-head carriage bolt is needed for the magnetic camera mount, and a 2-inch bolt is necessary for the ball-mount axis. Additionally, one 1 1/2 inch bolt or a hex-drive grub screw must be used to hold the camera through the teardrop slot if this approach is taken. It's essential to note that a tight fit around the bolt is crucial since there are no threaded fittings available. Most Arlo Pro camera boots should function properly with this setup. However, interference near the magnetic mount can be mitigated by allowing the carriage bolt to protrude slightly. Fortunately, my boots work seamlessly even when the bolt is fully inserted into its socket.
