Arlo Doorbell Plinth
thingiverse
This is simply a temporary adjustment made to elevate the doorbell slightly, creating clearance for cable insertion behind it. One challenge I've encountered with the Arlo doorbell involves connecting it to low-voltage legacy wiring. The device assumes this cabling originates from a wall-mounted hole, causing it to screw directly across the top of the cabling. If your legacy doorbell cabling requires entry from one side, the Arlo doorbell isn't well-suited for this setup. It won't lie flat against the wall surface due to its design. To address this issue, you may need to create a channel in the wall or devise a way to elevate it off the surface, allowing cable passage underneath.
