Arlo 1/4-20 mount fixer

This is a part to help you keep using a broken Arlo mount. The magnetic mounts that Arlo has are great, but the plastic threaded "permanent" mount is extremely brittle. the mount (when disassembled) has a small hole under the tightening bolt. if you sand down the head of a #6 drywall screw slightly it will fit through the hole and you can use it to secure the mount to this new base. If you can't find a screw that will work, you can try using this with just some superglue and tapping the original mount onto this part with a mallet. The part is tapered to match the inside of the of the original mount so that it will wedge itself on when force is applied. This is to keep the mount from rotating on this new part while you're adjusting the camera angles. This was made specifically for the mount that comes with the arlo pro3 cameras, but it looks like the same mount that they've use for quite some time now. Its designed for a #6 coarse thread drywall screw (or similar) for the center, and a #8 drywall or deck screw for the 4 mounting holes. any similar screw should work for you though. The holes are chamfered on both sides so it can be mounted from either direction. Make sure to lay it flat on the build plate with the post facing up before slicing. No supports needed! I hope it works for you!
