Arlington Street Mural

A vibrant mural is splashed across a hoarding along Arlington Street in Mt Cook, Wellington, brought to life by the artistic vision of Tea Wei. Adjacent to this visual display, the Arlington Street Flats are undergoing demolition and will soon make way for a brand new council housing project. This undertaking serves as a pioneering photogrammetry project aimed at capturing the city's vibrant graffiti scene across Wellington, New Zealand. With precision, a Canon 550D camera captured an impressive array of images - 245 in total - utilizing the versatile 18-135mm lens at F18. The resulting dataset was then meticulously processed using Agisoft Metashape, requiring approximately two hours to transform and refine the data from its original ~8m tris count to a streamlined ~400K. Finally, the scene was delicately lit with Agisoft Delighter.
