Arlec AL7VA Series Transformer Mount
thingiverse
A holder for attaching an Arlec AL7VA series PCB mount transformer externally. Arlec is an Australian electronic components company and this model of transformer has likely been out of production for years. If you still want to use my fantastic holder, you can buy a 15V AL7VA transformer at http://www.rockby.com.au/catresultsSql_12.cfm?Stock_no=25677. The datasheet is included as the last picture; it's not available online, so this scan may be just as useful as the mount design. Printer Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: Cupcake CNC Rafts: Not necessary Supports: No Notes: Supports are built into the model. I printed this in ABS and think PLA might not hold up due to some force on the supporting arms, especially when inserting the transformer. Post-Printing Walls obstructing the transformer's path need to be removed. These are supports for overhanging bits at the top of the print; they can be cut off with side cutters after printing is finished. As you slide the transformer in from one end, bend the "arms" out of the way of the caps where the pins are mounted. They then form a solid grip on the underside of the transformer and can be screwed or bolted to the required surface using the screw holes.
