I have a Monoprice Maker Ultimate printer and an Arkon universal cell phone holder in my car, but the stock arm just isn't long enough, so I designed this extension arm to fit perfectly. The center-to-center distance is 100mm versus the 70mm of the stock arm, giving me extra space for my phone. Adding teeth on one end was a fun challenge and it actually worked as intended. This is a first pass design, and I made it straight for simplicity's sake. Next, I'll test it in the car and make any necessary adjustments before uploading them online. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Maker Ultimate Rafts: None Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 40% Triangles Notes: To preserve detail on the small toothed end of the cylinder, I used a high resolution of 0.1mm and printed it resting on the smooth end with the arm up in the air. This approach worked surprisingly well, but printing with the arm laid down might require less support structure.
