I've been working on this for a while now and have made some progress, but I still need to fine-tune it. After downloading AutoDesk NetFabb, I finally managed to repair the model with it. Trying PLA prints was unsuccessful multiple times, so I switched to ABS and found that it works better for me using my Prusa MK2S.
