Edit 12/18: I added a split version of the alternate player cards tray to accommodate smaller beds. I included a small connector area for basic stability, as the tray typically stays in the box. Ark Nova has been sitting on my shelf for quite some time, begging to be played. With the expansion now out, I decided this was a good time to freshen up the box with an insert to make it easier to table. Thank you to js500 for use of his deck holder, the design is his and I simply elongated it to the needed size. This insert supports vertical storage and sleeved cards. Pictured are GameGenic Matte Prime sleeves.Everything fits into the main box! Expansion box is pictured simply because I like the blue they used. One of my issues with tabling the game is the fiddly nature of many of the pieces. Rather than fight with the stock trays, I decided to make pass 'n go trays that could be easily handed between players. Or, in the case of the research board, I wanted a tray that would make setup a breeze. The conservation tray can be placed directly on the board without any further adjustments needed.I do recommend placing the unique zoo tiles in the same orientation as shown in the pictures, as those slots needed to be slightly adjusted for height (yellows) or width (blues).Lastly, the solo pieces are nestled under the scoring and conservation project cards. The solo tracker token has a recess (push it) under the bottom portion for easy removal from the tray. All prints shown were done on 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, and no supports needed. Happy printing!
