Arizona Terrain

Arizona is represented as a topographical model here. Mountains stand tall at up to 8mm high, while the base thickness measures 4mm. We stretched the z-axis to achieve this scale, as an accurate representation would be nearly flat otherwise. You can spot the Grand Canyon in the northwest corner, where triangle resolution is dense and elevation changes are sharp. The terrain in southern Arizona is also noteworthy, with spiky mountain ranges piercing through the Basin and Range Province's generally flat landscape. For a list of the model's highest peaks, visit Wikipedia for more information.
