Ariston Boiler Knob
thingiverse
Replacement Knob for the Ariston originals now replaced Instructions Printed with a minimum of PLA, no supports needed, 25% density, and a layer height of 0.21 mm. A relatively low printing speed should be used, as I printed at 2000 mm/min or 33 mm/sec. Three of these knobs are required to complete the set. Once printed, each knob must be fitted securely to the boiler. To aid with positioning, a small marker needs to be added, preferably in a color contrasting the knob itself, which in my case was black PLA. I used a tiny glob of white car paint for this purpose. These replacement knobs offer enhanced durability around the spindle mounting area compared to the original, which tends to break after approximately 12 months of continuous use. Designed with Spaceclaim in 2015, and the SCDOC file is provided.
