The Aristarchus Plateau region of the moon is a creation of the Northeast Planetary Data Center, NASA RPIF System, Seth S Horowitz & Peter H Schultz. To explore this fascinating area in greater detail, simply download the original model and visit http://nasa3d.arc.nasa.gov/detail/aristarchus. After printing, I applied sand to the flat sections and brought the model to life with vibrant acrylics and inks. Printer Specifications: The Cocoon Create printer was used for this project. Settings: Rafts were not required for this print. Supports were also unnecessary. Resolution: 0.2mm layers ensured a precise finish. Infill density was set at 20% for optimal strength and detail.
