Ariel Atom Go-Pro mount (behind front suspension)
pinshape
The ideal spot for a GoPro on an Ariel Atom is directly behind the front suspension. This offers an excellent view of the road and provides a clear glimpse of the spring's action. Unfortunately, there isn't a perfect location to attach a Go-Pro, and the bar behind the suspension slopes at an 11-degree angle. Standard attachments either result in angled footage or require multiple links to level the camera, which raises its height and makes it more prone to vibrations. This custom mount securely attaches to the sloping bar and compensates for the 11-degree incline. The camera remains rock-steady and positioned below eye-level. You can watch a video of me embedding the threads into the lower half, allowing me to tighten it down with screws: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dhf08s35SGY The shot from this location is also impressive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDaoSM_lJWg
