Ariel ACS Airbrake Iris
thingiverse
Contained within this package are all the essential components required for the airbake mechanism itself as part of the Ariel Altitude Control System (AACS). Print four sturdy arms, four precision-cut blades, one stator unit, one guiding component, and one servo mount. Following printing, post-processing requires drilling approximately 1 mm holes into designated areas. The files contain precise locations for these holes; however, most standard printers may not be capable of producing them due to technical limitations. For accurate assembly, consult the accompanying picture: note that the diaphragm assembly involves securing the servo screws onto green components first, followed by attaching the servo mount to yellow parts in a specific order.
