The Argonauts were a legendary band of warriors who set sail to Colchis in search of the Golden Fleece years before the infamous Trojan War began. Their crew was handpicked by Jason, their fearless leader, to embark on this epic journey. As described in ancient Greek mythology, The Argonauts drew their name from their powerful vessel, the Argo. Its skilled shipwright, Argus, had constructed this sturdy ship which later earned its own identity among legendary sailing vessels. Sometimes referred to as Minyans, they were linked to an old tribe inhabiting that exact region long ago.
