Ares Striker AS-01/02/03 TDC thumb screw

Easy mod for your Ares Striker hop up. Hardware: - M4x22 screw or threaded rod - power drill - rotary tool (dremel) - rotary sanding attachment - small grinding disc - flat head screw driver bit - pliers - medium strength thread lock (loctite) (optional) - M4 washer (optional) 1. Cut a screw or rod to 22mm length. 2. Round one of the ends with power drill and rotary tool (see image). 3. Cut the other end with grinding disc so you can use flat head screw driver bit in the second step (see image). 4. Use flat head screw driver and power drill to force the screw through the middle hole. Depending on what material you are using you may need to enlarge the hole, I used somewhat flexible nylon and it worked fine. The hole is 3,5mm in diameter. 5. If it gives too much or too little hop up then adjust the position of the thumb screw. (OPTIONAL) 6. Add a small drop of thread lock to secure the thumb screw in place. Keep thread lock away from plastic parts! 7. Add a M4 washer under the thumb screw.
