Ares CrossfireRacer - Front Brace
thingiverse
This is a specially designed front brace for the Ares Crossfire Racer quadcopter. It's taller than standard, allowing you to remove the stock camera and plate, thereby securely bracing the cantilevered upper plate. You must use this front brace in conjunction with 26mm standoff's for the upper plate to frame, instead of the usual 19mm standoff's. The overall height of this custom-made brace is 40mm. Nylon standoffs (10mm long) serve as nuts in this setup. You'll need to drill two new holes on the top plate, right in front of the FC mount holes. Unfortunately, you cannot use the stock PDB with this front brace installed. Version 2 features cutouts for a 30x30 4in1 ESC.
