Area of a Circle - Tactile Geometric Proof
thingiverse
A Tactile Proof for Circle Area Accessibility.\r\n\r\nTwo versions exist, one featuring raised braille and another with raised radius lines. Printing 12 copies of each segment, arranged vertically for optimal braille readability, is recommended.\r\n\r\nThe second version consists of two parts: one with a joint and the other without, both showcasing raised radii. When joined together, these pieces form a circle and an approximate parallelogram, demonstrating that the area of a circle equals pi times radius squared. This tactile representation enables visually impaired students to explore mathematical concepts independently.
