ArduTV
thingiverse
This is a simple Arduino and TFT Display setup to display pictures from an SD card (unfortunately, the Arduino board isn't capable of playing videos). You can find the full tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZaDS0-aAa4. To navigate through different images on your SD card, simply press the channel buttons. Here's what you'll need to get started: * A TFT Display - I sourced mine from Adafruit at https://www.adafruit.com/products/1480 * An Arduino nano board * Wires and a soldering iron for connections The zip file contains the Arduino code, which includes all necessary display libraries. If you're new to working with TFT Displays, be sure to check out Adafruit's tutorial on how to connect your screen. They've got a great guide that'll get you up and running in no time! Here's how I wired my Display to the Arduino: * SCK pin 13 * MISO pin 12 * MOSI pin 11 * CS pin 10 * DC pin 9 * RST pin 8 * VIN connected to 3V3 (I also tried using 5V, but that didn't seem to make a difference) * GND connected to GND Feel free to use this setup as-is or make any improvements you like. If you do happen to find any bugs or ways to optimize the code, please let me know so I can keep my version up-to-date. Thanks for checking out my project! This is how I designed it:
With this file you will be able to print ArduTV with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on ArduTV.
