Arduped Biped Robot
pinshape
After checking out some really cool examples of "four degrees of freedom" biped robots online, I decided to create my own unique feet and give the robots a more creature-like appearance. Current ideas for cool feet include beasty feet, mech-like feet, and rock feet - you get the idea. The preceding examples of this type of robot used the PCB as the mounting point for the servos, so I designed a generic baseplate with space for a mini breadboard or your own preferred platform. I also added a "neck" servo for looking around and an ultrasonic sensor for sight. My plan is to create a housing and more creature feet for this robot as there's huge potential for customization. The code I'm using is a derivation of the functions and primitives written for uBipedino (tm) by user Ro-Bot-X on the Let's Make Robots site. It's part of the robot that's currently in progress, as I'm working to fine-tune the ultrasonics.
