Arduino Uno Spider Mount / Breadboard Connector
thingiverse
This is a minimalist mount for an Arduino Uno or clone. It's intended to give a small, but stable base which can be clipped onto a breadboard, used stand-alone, or glued / screwed / tacked onto something else. The Arduino should click in place, and the mount will hold it upside down (as long as you don't have rocks hanging off it). ## Features * Fits an Arduino Uno or clone * Clicks in place, and can hold the board upside down * Acts as a stand-off and allows the Arduino to be placed on a metal surface without shorting * Minimal filament use (3g), quick print * Should be stable when inserting into any pin * Supports attaching to a breadboard on 3 sides (or daisy chaining) * 5 x 3.5mm counter sunk screw holes ## Breadboard mounting You can mount this holder onto a breadboard with one of the three attachment points, or daisy chain multiple holders (if that's your thing). However, the mounts were prototyped with my setup, so you may find your tolerances / breadboards are different. I printed at 0.2mm with eSUN PLA+. ## Note about screws! If you intend to use screws to mount this, you need to ensure that the metal of the screw does not short anything on the back of the board: * The mounting holes are in places intended to miss traces etc. (at least on my board) * There is a stand off inside, so make sure your screws are flat down and as long as you don't really push down on it, it should be ok * Use flat, rather than domed screws * If in doubt add a little electrical tape etc.
