First and foremost this mount is designed specifically to be used with the Arduino Uno Case:\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:737829\r\n\r\nWith a 3.5-hour print time expected using a 10% infill setting.\r\n\r\nI created a custom mount for my Arduino Uno to use in conjunction with the Prusa LED Quad, opting to utilize my existing Arduino instead of directly wiring into the RAMBO due to a lack of suitable materials and concerns about reliability. Since I knew the Arduino Uno could be easily connected using an AC adapter, allowing me to tap into its output voltage, I decided to go this route.\r\n\r\nDuring my initial print, I realized that the mount did not clear the axis motor, but this issue has since been resolved in this updated version of the design. \r\n\r\nPotential users should be aware that the screws are self-tapping and may require some adjustment to secure properly; using short spare screws provided with the Prusa printer and gently tapping them into place while aligning them will help ensure a proper fit. It's also worth noting that I have found it beneficial to install both screws slightly proud of the part, then work on lining them up one at a time.\r\n\r\nFor the top screw, I highly recommend using a flathead screw, which can be found in the spare bag provided with the printer. To aid in installation, I have included some pictures.\r\n\r\nMounting the Arduino Uno in this manner allows for significantly reduced wiring lengths of just a few inches, resulting in a much cleaner and neater install overall. I hope this design proves helpful to others and invite anyone to remix or improve upon it as they see fit.\r\n\r\nHere is a link to the Quad LED that I am aiming to achieve clean wiring for:\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2518558\r\n\r\nI have also remixed this design to incorporate MK3s axis tops; if anyone would like access to those, please let me know and I will upload them here.\r\n\r\nAs a side note, the Arduino can be installed with either the plugs facing up or down, and both orientations will work equally well.\r\n\r\nThanks for your interest.
