Arduino UNO LCD keypad case
thingiverse
This is an enclosure box designed from scratch specifically for the Arduino UNO and the LCD keypad shield. After several attempts, the final design fits perfectly. First, re-drill using a 3mm drill the two holes at the bottom of the STL part to remove self-contained support layers. Next, clean and trim parts if necessary (in my case, all parts fit perfectly). To assemble the enclosure box, use 2 pieces of M3x30mm bolts for holding the PCBs and closing the case (use these bolts for pre-threading the holes before assembly). The source files have also been included. Multi-color printing with a single head is possible: the case logo is 1mm deep, so you can play with this data and your layer height to change the filament color at the appropriate height. On my setup, my first layer height is 0.4mm and the rest are 0.25mm. I start printing the first color for 3 layers (0.4+0.25+0.25=0.9mm). Then, I stop the print at 0.91mm and switch to the second color. Next, I print 3 more layers (0.9+0.25+0.25+0.25=1.65mm). After that, I stop the print again at 1.66mm and return to the first color. UPDATES: February 28, 2017 - Added multi-color layer information.
