This is a portable control unit casing for a Stranger Things inspired LED strip controller. This project can be built - the electronics consist of standard components and modules available on eBay. The wiring hookup diagram and Arduino code are included in this post. A smartphone with Bluetooth capabilities, either an Android or iPhone, is required to use this control box. Here's how it works: a smartphone app sends text messages to the control box, which then flashes the LEDs accordingly. The instructions for the app and control box commands can be found at the top of the Arduino code listing. The control box features translucent plastic printing so that power and charging indicators are visible.
