Arduino Robot Platform
thingiverse
This project remains ongoing. Latest updates will be listed below, with the most recent one at the top. UPDATE 3: We've upgraded the rail system with an ultrasonic sensor adapter that perfectly complements our design. Ensure you fit the sensor carefully the first few times, then it should slide in easily after that. UPDATE 2: The body and main wheels have been significantly improved. We also added rails on top to enable the addition of any item you can think of, using the "shield" component to hold a breadboard securely in place. You can easily modify this robot into a Raspberry Pi case or other enclosure to further expand its functionality. This 3D printed Arduino-driven robot is specifically designed as a platform for teaching basic robotics, 3D design, and Arduino programming in workshops. It's our second attempt at creating this project, the first using tank tracks proved very complicated, but we simplified it and it has worked well despite a few minor bugs. This one still requires improvement, but its design makes up for those minor issues. Since we're producing multiple robots to test and implement improvements, we will be uploading updates here.
