This low-cost open-source Arduino robot accommodates a breadboard, micro servo, and sensors. An older version is available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:273520, with the latest design offering fewer unnecessary parts. The parts list includes two continuous rotation micro servos (http://www.robotshop.com/en/9g-continuous-rotation-micro-servo.html), ball casters from Pololu (http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/952), a 270-point breadboard from Pololu (http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/350), Adafruit's Trinket mini chip in 3.3V or 5V (http://www.adafruit.com/category/167), a 4xAA battery holder from Adafruit (http://www.adafruit.com/products/830), jumper wires, and two small zip-ties. Optional parts consist of a reflectance sensor (http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/2459), an additional ball caster for front-heavy bots, a micro servo (http://www.adafruit.com/products/169), and a motor driver (http://www.adafruit.com/products/807). An upgraded microcontroller is also optional.
