Arduino PCB Standoff mount
thingiverse
This mount offers multiple options to securely attach boards, shields, and peripherals. Prints swiftly! The design is simple and can be easily modified using Sketchup. It was made for fastening a Sharp IR sensor to an Arduino+Ethernet stack. The holes measure 1/8 inch in diameter; attaching with machine screws has been successful so far. Be cautious of default settings on Makerbot as it might result in failure. For better results, choose "High" quality setting in MakerWare (using PLA on a Replicator Dual at work). To personalize it, a Sketchup file is included. Consider changing vertical holes (used for connecting Arduino and a shield) to small protrusions that facilitate stacking for better stability.
