Arduino Nano Stratasys Cartridge Resetter (OneWireProxy v1)
cults3d
Stratasys's original cartridges cost about 200$ each. If they're empty the chip prevents refilling the cartridges with cheap pla / abs filament. To rewrite a chip (also known as eeprom), you can use an Arduino Nano to read the eeprom and rewrite it. More information here: slaytonrnd/CartridgeWriter Pin contacts: I thought about using battery contacts from old remotes or pin probe contacts. The best way to go with were iphone sim card slots (2$ for 5pcs). I soldered all pins together, soldered the wires on and hot glued everything secure in place. Arduino Nano: I used a chinese clone from ebay for the measurements so I'm unsure whether the official Arduino Nano fits in without sanding. Soldering: It took me the most time to find out which kind of cable is flexible enough to fit inside the tight case. Eventually I found one and secured the solder points with hot glue. Software: You can download a compiled version of the CartridgeWriter here: 256FF/CartridgeWriter_V2
